For years both the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) have striven to cultivate community and a shared understanding amongst designers across the globe. We have worked together in the past and this year is no exception.
With that being said, we are pleased to announce and re-introduce (especially for new members of the IxDA community) the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) as friends and partners in an effort to expand design opportunities.
As an independent non-profit, the IDF is committed to provide accessible and world-class design education to the masses. They provide relevant and top notch online UX Courses and also have a network of local groups around the world. We are always looking for ways to share knowledge through IxDA local groups and the IDF is well aligned with our mission.
We are incredibly proud to continue this alignment between the Interaction Awards and another organization who shares many of our goals. We know that through this partnership we will be able to provide more opportunities for designers in the future!
We have realized that by working together, we have a greater potential to serve our members.
